Good Morning I am still all upside down here and things are going from bad to worse, we had an earthquake here a few years ago our first one and it made a little crack along the lounge wall, we have to strip it as that is where the lift is going to go and the wall fell out as the paper came off, more jobs to be done sigh, so I am a little out of sync with my days and posting and today I am sharing a card I made for a teacher, and it was drawn by my good friend Vince, he often gives away his digital images on his blog HERE but be sure to say thank you if you take one, he is very talented too....
I put a request in for an older teacher with a glass of wine and something school in her other hand and this is what he drew for me, how fabulous is she, Vince you are a star, she has been coloured with Copics and a touch of White Pen, the papers are Glitz Vintage Blue, they have all been distressed with chalk inks, I have added some White Lace and some Seam Binding with a bow and I have hung a Thank you Tag from the bow...
My flowers are Tea Rose, Cherry Blossoms, 10mm Open Roses and Hip Rosebuds, all have been glittered with Stardust and I have added some Liquid Pearls too, and of course a Butterfly...

Every little job is turning in to 10 more big jobs, we should have just knocked the house down and started again as this si what it feels like at the moment, and dust jeez I am so sick of the sight of dust and muck, I know it will be worth it but I have days where I just want to sit and cry good job my crafting takes me to another place, and I shall be around to visit you all today as I am having the weekend of doing jobs, thank you all for looking today, biggest of hugs love Pops x x x

Fab card Pops and what a lovely image drawn for you! I know how you feel with the work in the house it does get you down and the dust just gets everywhere! You just have to keep focused on the end result and once it is finished all this will be forgotten - a bit like going to the dentist or having a baby!! xx

really lovely card. I too had to make a thank you teacher card for my grandson. You have a well earned rest form all the hard work you must be exhausted. it will be all worth it in the end, I'm sure. Thank goodness for the good old craft, it does take your mind off everything else doesn't it. Have a great crafty day everyone.

Nice card, I love how you put it togeather, and with all that yellow! It just gives it a happy feel. And your right, Vince does a great job with thoes images, I just took a quick look but, WOW. I hope that your house projects start getting easier. I hear a few friends and a glass or 2 of wine makes it a bit more fun, though maybe not any easier...

A beautiful card sweetie, I love the colours and the layout and those flowers are so beautiful. Isn't it horrid when you start decorating to find that the job is 10 times bigger than you thought it would be, we had a similar situation last year, where we stripped down the walls to redecorate and found a crumbling mess underneath, I hope you get it sorted with out too much trouble hun
