Storybook Friends

First I wanted to share my good news with you all, as you know my little darlings have Cerebral Palsy and you all know that Sammie had an operation that was hugely successful and she can walk and do things herself, she has been accepted in to college on a full time course doing horse care and she gets to ride too, well you all know that Teej is much worse affected than Sammie and over the last 13 years he has worn iron callipers on his legs to help him walk, and then on to the plastic splints to hold his legs in place, he has struggled with these and the painful blisters they leave, we have thrown them in the bin :0) He got his very first pair of shoes and he has gone to school this morning walking in his shoes he is so pleased to be just like everyone else and I have to admit I had tears watching him walk down the path this morning, so although it may seem small to you its huge news for me, I am now redundant as a Mum and I like it seeing them become independent, I am so very Happy today :0) I feel like dancing...

I saw these larger Cheery Lynn dies and thought they would make lovely easel cards, theses are the scallop and plain ovals and they do fit in to the big shot so perfect for me, I have cut 3 ovals to make this card, I popped a little fold in the back one and glued it to the bottom, they are a really crisp clean look and they will be on the website very soon HERE, I have used one of Tina's stamps this one is called Storybook Friends, I love her work and one of these little girlie's has glasses on so this one really took my eye, coloured with markers and pencil and glittered with Stardust, the paper is BB Sweet Tooth, I have added, Lace, Seam Binding with a bow and a Pearl Brad, a Whimsy Sentiment, the gorgeous flowers are Gardenia, 25mm Open Roses and Cherry Blossoms, and as always a Butterfly or 2...

I always find easel cards hard to take pictures....
